Organizational Background
The
United Arakan Youths Union was formed on Sunday, November 11, 2018. The purpose
of the organization is to build the new capacity of the youths, which is the
real need and vision of the youths and to build a peaceful and prosperous
society. The organization embraces the national democracy and capacity building
approach.
Established procedures of United
Arakan Youths Union
(1)
To rebuild the unity of
the youth in Rakhine State
(2)
To provide continuous
capacity building training to the youth
(3)
To make towns/villages
in Rakhine State clean and tidy
(4)
To enable all young
people to learn advanced skills.
(5)
Ability and skills of
young people. To create opportunities for thinking and creativity.
(6)
To teach vocational
skills to all young people.
(7)
To promote the exchange
of visual literature and cultural traditions, science and technology, ethnic
literature and language, Foreign language and sign Language.
(8)
To conduct health
training for the people living in the cities/villages in Rakhine State.
(9)
Efforts should be made
to involve the entire youth community in biological and environmental conservation
activities.
(10)
National unity, to
strive for the participation of young people in the national interest and
nation building.
(11)
National history and
cultural heritage, to preserve and promote the national identity of the youth

To preserve and protect
the ancient cultural heritage.
(13)
Create opportunities
for young people to express their own ideas and put them into practice.
(14)
To increase the
appreciation of cultures for young people who are interested in literature,
music, Anu Thu Khuma.

Take action to encourage
reading habits among young people.

To create and sustain
modern libraries.

To enable young people
to train and use modern science and technology including media.

Values of human
rights and democratic norms, encourage young people to understand and practice
the principles of federalism and sovereignty.

To promote the
development of youth volunteerism and philanthropy

To disseminate
knowledge on resource conservation in various ways to young people.

National
Reconciliation; to make programs to strengthen mutual understanding and trust
among ethnic youths in the spirit of the Union towards national equality.

Prevent youth involvement in crime and
conflict and engage youth in reduction processes.

To build mutual trust
among different youths.

Establish a safe house
for women with special needs including
women with disabilities in youth centers, if necessary.
(25)
Increase
the practice of effective partnership between men and women to realize mutual
benefits.

According to the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights, to protect the inherent rights of young
people in accordance with the provisions. To respect and promote.

To provide knowledge
Human rights concepts, responsibilities and accountability to young people.

To cooperate with
international youth organizations.

To prevent effectively
the dangers of drugs and mood-altering drugs, Alcohol, cigarette and tobacco

promotion of Rakhine traditional sports and local sports and to become
